Biology (General) degrees in Wales

Student support in this uni is excellent, whatever problem I have encountered, someone has always been quick to reply and solve the issue, ensuring I get the help I need, especially as I am under the Disability bracket of students. I was granted alternative assessments and extenuation options very quickly when I have encountered health and life issues that have impacted my studies, so I am very thankful for the help, which made me a lot less anxious and it even enhanced my studying techniques and confidence. However, I do believe that some improvements could be made, such as the module options for final year students. Sadly, I have been left with little choices due to timetable crashes, which lead me to choosing options I don’t resonate with, therefore timetables could be made more effective to ensure students do get the most out of their time while studying in Swansea Uni so that they can actually study their desired fields.

The SU and student life were probably the weakest parts of my university experience, but this is likely in part due to the small size of Aberystwyth. There were a range of societies but many stopped and restarted at various points. The campus has a great atmosphere and is just the right size!
