Facilities
PhD students seem to be overlooked at the moment due to the current financial landscape. Lots of PhD students are unhappy about the lack of community being created for them by the uni which is like to a lack of desk spaces, lack of social paces to eat lunch, a lack of events which the university he’s previously put on like coffee mornings and festive socials, there is also a lack of funding for conferences meaning a lack of opportunity for PhD students to disseminate their work and network.
