The campus is very good. It is a great place to study. Overall very positive. My only slight complaint was that student support is perhaps a little under staffed. (Although the staff are helpful themselves).

The best aspects are the campus, the staff and the atmosphere. I wouldn’t say that there’s worst aspects but the places where it could improve are the more student attentiveness and the student life experience outside is not that great because of the location, This is just my personal opinion. The campus is very green and is just a beautiful place to study and work. There is a really good balance between socialising and work, I’m able to balance playing sport and meeting up with friends with my studies, not having to compromise on much. The lecturers are very helpful and they generally explain things well, although the pastoral and careers support through our tutors could be improved. Generally I am very glad I chose to study here in Nottingham, and would recommend it to anyone looking to achieve highly in both their career and at the same time be able to have a thriving social life and overall good work life balance.

The environment and atmosphere of the campus is very enjoyable and pleasant. There are many learning areas to do work and chill with friends. In my opinion, although the library is well equipped, it lacks aesthetic appeal. There could be more affordable shops to get quick snacks from.

I come from Madagascar, an island located in the Southern African region in the Indian Ocean. In my country, English is the third language, with French as the second, and Malagasy as our local official language. Additionally, Madagascar is one of the most underdeveloped countries in the world. I earned my Master's degree in Theology from our national theological faculty before pursuing a second Master's level course at the Cambridge Centre for Christianity Worldwide (CCCW). I am deeply grateful and honored to have been admitted here, and I extend my thanks to the CCCW Board for this opportunity. My journey at CCCW has been marked by several meaningful experiences: Despite my background, I have never felt excluded. I am welcomed as part of the community, and my classmates are genuinely understanding and supportive. English proficiency is required for students from countries where English is not the first language. I am deeply thankful to my professors and classmates for their patience, as they recognize both my efforts and my progress in achieving academic-level English. I have never felt judged, and I am committed to improving daily. Lastly, the support, guidance, and attention from the professors have been invaluable. I truly admire their dedication and the advice they offer as they assist us throughout our studies.

Everything about UoB is great! Especially being an international student, UoB has provided me with a sense of warmth and welcoming and has created an environment that feels like a home away from home. The exposure we have as university students to the field of careers is amazing. And the university also has an amazing careers connect team that provide one-to-one support from mock interviews to CV reviews. The academic faculty is filled with professors who are experts in their chosen fields.
