A Transformative Journey into Interior Design Excellence As a student of the Masters in Interior Design program at Arts University Bournemouth (AUB), I can confidently say that my experience surpassed all expectations. From the moment I started this degree, I was enveloped in a culture of creativity, innovation, and collaboration. The faculty members are not only accomplished professionals in the field but also passionate mentors dedicated to nurturing each student's unique talents. Their guidance, coupled with state-of-the-art facilities and resources, provided the perfect environment for exploration and growth. One of the program's greatest strengths is its emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration. Working alongside students from various backgrounds allowed me to gain new perspectives and develop a holistic approach to design. Whether it was conceptualizing sustainable spaces or integrating cutting-edge technology, every project pushed the boundaries of creativity while instilling a sense of responsibility towards the environment and society. Moreover, the program's industry connections are unparalleled. Through guest lectures, workshops, and industry placements, I had the opportunity to learn from and network with leading professionals, gaining invaluable insights into the real-world applications of interior design. The culmination of my journey will be the master thesis, where I hope to have the freedom to explore my passions and create a worthy reasearch. The support and encouragement I have received so far from both faculty and peers throughout this time were instrumental in shaping my vision and refining my skills. In conclusion, the Masters in Interior Design program at AUB is more than just an academic pursuit – it's a transformative journey that equips students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to thrive in the competitive world of interior design. Whether you're a seasoned professional looking to elevate your practice or a budding designer eager to make your mark, AUB provides the perfect platform for realizing your ambitions. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone passionate about the intersection of art, architecture, innovation and education.

The location is fantastic. Plymouth is a beautiful city with decent nightlife and you can easily get on a train or a cheap bus and travel in any direction and enjoy the most beautiful coast and countryside. The main campus is nice, albeit mostly grey concrete with some ugly modern art thrown in. There isn't as much greenery as other universities and some of the facilities aren't great but the good ones are really modern, really colourful and very comfortable. The lecturers are nice people and some of their classes are really interesting and involving. The Student Union organises all sorts of events celebrating different cultures and in the bar there are drinks for a reasonable price, themed discos and a pub quiz every Sunday, all very enjoyable. There are lots of sports clubs and different societies to join and they're generally very welcoming.

I love the facilities they’re so useful and the technicians are incredibly helpful and kind. I think it could be improved with better access between Falmouth and Penryn campus, as the bus tickets add up for a student living in the opposite campus to where they’re studying

Best - Enough free time to meet people and make friends- just the overall uni experience is good. Worst - I’m a home student, so I commute every day. The uni sometimes doesn’t take that into consideration.

I am allergic to Costa Coffee so perhaps more coffee more sometimes around the campus maybe one of each floor cost? Students union website is confusing. Could not find much to do, even gym and student union events/activities student support could be better. the emails could be more shared around

The University of Bath has been an incredible experience for me as a student in the School of Management. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed, with induction programs and friendly staff helping me settle in. The campus, surrounded by stunning Georgian architecture and green hills, makes studying here a joy. The academic side is everything I hoped for and more. The lecturers are passionate and bring real-world insights into the classroom, often drawn from their own professional experiences. The courses are practical, with plenty of opportunities to apply theories to real-world problems, like live projects for local businesses. What makes Bath stand out is its community. The diversity among students has given me new perspectives, and group projects have taught me valuable teamwork and leadership skills. Outside the classroom, there are endless ways to get involved, from societies like the Management Society to volunteering initiatives. Career support is exceptional, with workshops, placement opportunities, and networking events that connect us to top companies like Deloitte and PwC. The emphasis on employability is real, and I feel more prepared than ever to take on the professional world. Life here isn’t just about studying. The campus is beautiful, and the city is full of charm, with plenty of cafes, historic spots, and events like the magical Christmas Market. Bath has given me so much more than an education—it’s given me friendships, personal growth, and a sense of belonging.
