Worst aspects of uni experience was 2nd year housemates. I felt rushed to find a 2nd year house and made big mistakes. 2nd year was miserable for me and I didn’t know I could access resources for help. Best aspects is when I did find the resources they did an amazing job to help me out.

Best: A beautiful campus with a relaxed, coastal atmosphere, great study spaces, and a strong sense of community. The location by the beach is a real highlight, and student support services are approachable and helpful. Worst: Some facilities and services can be slow during busy periods, and campus life can feel quiet outside term time. Better coordination of services and more on-campus activities would improve the experience.

The best aspect for me is the location. I love being so close to Brighton and Stanmer park. There have been times where I have felt I could use with more support/ input from lecturers or tutors this term and I have felt very overwhelmed and burnt out adjusting to the new style of learning. Maybe for the first term students could receive more guidance if they feel necessary?

The careers team is amazing at posting job listings. They are so proactive in getting you the right support and I love that about them. And I think the structure of some teaching material could be improved with bringing the right balance of AI into studies

There are all kinds of events every day, so you'll always find something interesting to do. This makes it easier for students to meet each other and contributes to student life! The only thing that could be improved is maybe the accomodation, some of them being far away and some others being a bit old. But the response team in case of issues or emergencies is quick so it's a good thing!
