The location is fantastic. Plymouth is a beautiful city with decent nightlife and you can easily get on a train or a cheap bus and travel in any direction and enjoy the most beautiful coast and countryside. The main campus is nice, albeit mostly grey concrete with some ugly modern art thrown in. There isn't as much greenery as other universities and some of the facilities aren't great but the good ones are really modern, really colourful and very comfortable. The lecturers are nice people and some of their classes are really interesting and involving. The Student Union organises all sorts of events celebrating different cultures and in the bar there are drinks for a reasonable price, themed discos and a pub quiz every Sunday, all very enjoyable. There are lots of sports clubs and different societies to join and they're generally very welcoming.

Falmouth is such a cool place to spend three years. Everyone is lovely and there's a sunny atmosphere even throughout the not-so-sunny winter. There is a great live music scene and good bars and pubs. The Penryn campus is nice, green, spacious and the accommodation is perfectly fine, just expensive.

I personally think that Plymouth Marjon University is a brilliant place to choose to study. It has a variety of courses and not just sport ones as being local I know quite a few people just think it’s a sports university. The facilities at Marjon is excellent. We have our own bar, an amazing sports centre and places where you can get food on site. All lecturers and members of staff are lovely and welcoming too.
