Worst aspects of uni experience was 2nd year housemates. I felt rushed to find a 2nd year house and made big mistakes. 2nd year was miserable for me and I didn’t know I could access resources for help. Best aspects is when I did find the resources they did an amazing job to help me out.

I think I have chosen the best university I love how they support the student how the environment is . It’s fantastic and so friendly for me . Whenever I had i problem I emailed them and they were always available for me through everything from module assignments to helping anything . the next I wanna say is my university teachers they teach quite well I can understand it very easily even in one lecture I can learn all the things that are meant to be learned. And last one is the education system the module lectures and chapters they gave us is very good and helpful for us to understand each and everything about the topic the most important thing for me is educational system and my university Essex online university have the best system I can say that they are amazing teacher amazing students and very helpful stuff always their for us great university for me .

The facilities in Aston university makes it convenient for students to study. The facilities are modern and well maintained and there are multiple areas for group work and quiet study. The location is good as well as everything’s in walking distance like restaurants, shops and job opportunities. This makes it really convenient for students. One area where it could be improved is the parking. During peak times it can be quite difficult to find parking. Improving this for students who commute would make a big difference.

Best experiences are working within the kitchens amongst other culinary driven peers. The student support is good too. Things that could be better are the resources provided for culinary students as it seems to be a reoccurring issue where the isn’t enough produce to make a dish and this can be understandable at times however in order to work to the best possible ability we need the best resources and quantity too.

The course also gradually builds your research skills, particularly in statistics and methods, which are essential for psychology but often difficult—NTU tends to scaffold this learning quite well. The campus environment is also a plus. It’s modern, well-maintained, and has a supportive atmosphere. There are plenty of societies and opportunities to get involved, which helps balance academic work with social life. Worst aspects / areas for improvement: A common challenge is the heavy focus on statistics and research methods, which can feel overwhelming—especially if you don’t have a strong maths background. While support is available, it can sometimes feel fast-paced, and not everyone finds the teaching style in this area accessible. Another downside is that feedback on assignments can occasionally be inconsistent or not detailed enough to clearly guide improvement. This can make it harder to understand how to progress between grades. Some lectures, particularly in larger modules, can feel quite impersonal due to class size. One of the best aspects of studying at De Montfort University is the supportive and diverse environment. As an international student, I feel welcomed and included. The university has strong student support services, especially the Disability Advice and Support team, who are understanding and helpful. The MSc Project Management course is practical and career-focused. The modules are well-structured, and seminars encourage discussion and real-life application of concepts. The lecturers are approachable and provide useful feedback on assignments. Student life in Leicester is also a positive experience. The city is affordable compared to other UK cities, and everything is accessible. The campus facilities, including the library and study spaces, are modern and comfortable for independent learning. While the university offers good support, sometimes communication about attendance expectations and academic requirements could be clearer, especially for students managing health or personal challenges. In addition, more flexibility in seminar attendance for students with documented disabilities could make the experience less stressful. Providing recorded seminar discussions (where possible) would help students who occasionally cannot attend in person. Overall, De Montfort University is a supportive and career-oriented institution, but improving flexibility and communication would make it even better.

The University Experience was Good for me when I compare to own Country (India) Whereas the Students and Faculties in the University are well Mannered and Giving respect to each other and the Teaching is also good . The University is conducting many Events for the International students to get a Cultural connection with other peoples and this helps a Lot to get to know about the various cultures around the World

While support services are available, clearer guidance on financial support, employability opportunities, and tailored support for international students would further improve the overall experience. Overall, the university is a great place to study, and enhanced support in these areas would make the student experience even stronger.

Overall, student living and studying are good at the university, but the overall support for struggling students can be lacking at times, especially with vague assignment briefs that do not describe what needs to be done well enough.
