Accounting, Business & Finance degrees in Brighton

The lecturers are lovely and the course material is good. I think the study could be somewhat more guided, though that may just be the reality of university. I think neurodiverse students, such as myself, would benefit greatly from more explcit and personal guidance

The best part of my university experience has been the learning environment and independence. I’ve had access to good facilities, knowledgeable tutors, and projects that push me to think critically and work in a more professional way, especially through practical and design-based assignments. University has also helped me develop discipline, self-management, and confidence in my own ideas. Being surrounded by people from different backgrounds has broadened how I think, both academically and personally.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Plumpton College. The university experience here is definitely unique and one to consider if you are looking at studying an animal-based degree. The class sizes are relatively small, making staff and student interaction extremely focused and personal. Teaching staff are extremely friendly and definitely play a role in making the uni experience as positive and stress-free as possible. The modules in both of the animal degrees are extremely useful for application across a series of job roles also. Because the scale of degree students - college students is extremely uneven, the facilities solely available to university students are limited but I am aware that the staff are working hard to make plans to change this.
