There is a high level of tutor/one to one involvement. The Arts department is committed to including neuro diverse students and being trauma-informed. It is a very creative/individualised course. There's a bit of a divide between the Arts building Regent St and main campus. I have been to the main campus a few times. The SU bar (although closes early) and cafeteria have good facilities. I love the study pods in the garden. Linking the main campus and Arts building more, could leadto more opportunities. There's a small kitchen surface in Regent St for students - the addition of a sink would be helpful.

Our course content/teaching and self development focus is very good. We have had an Entrepenerial talk and info about related workshops which is helpful. I would like more career guidance and placement direction and have been told this will occur in my second year.

Wrexham is a short commuting distance by train from where I live. It is a small town surrounded by lovely countryside (Errdigg National Trust Hall and Country park is nearby) and it has a Victorian Park. It has many (cheap) charity shops and some great coffee shops/cafes. The burgeoning football ground have close links (in proximity as well) with the University. There is a rich Industrial heritage, art galleries and community spirit/activities. I have not been around Wrexham at night very often so don't know about the safety element although I wouldn't want to be on my own.

The course I am studying has very supportive and well experienced staff, which has made the learning side of university easier. I have made strong friendships with peers, which has made the social aspect of university a very positive experience. For students thinking of attending Glyndwr, I would definitely recommend it. Along with supportive staff, diverse modules and peers that will be life-long friends, the university offers a variety of courses to attend which are beneficial for CV's.
