It is a really great place to study, there are lots of places to work and places to relax on campus. Student support is also really good if you take the initiative to ask for help.

Maths is all in person but they have everything recorded so if you miss something you din’t miss out. They also have everything in place to work online if needed. Sometimes the lecturers aren’t amazing but they have feedback forms and they try to make it a better experience based on your feedback

It was a really nice place to stay, I was on east even though my stuff was on west but the transport was really good, with free buses.

Pretty campus and a nice city to live in. In general student support is decent and they are good for bursaries etc.

The department dealt with the pandemic terribly (little effort put in and all old recorded lectures) and most lecturers are just forced to teach so they get research funding so they don't really care. The ones that do are great but it doesn't save the experience. Unless you're doing a PhD, go to a different uni. The year in industry staff were helpful in finding placements.

I had the worst block out of the college which is now closed due to asbestos. Was nice to have regular cleaners, but we didn't have anyone collect from the sanitary bin for about 4 months. One room in my flat got closed for the mould under a bed.
