Good study spaces, nice city, sometimes difficult to meet people becuase its more far out

Not many contact hours but that comes with the amount of reading you have to do so lots of independent work is to be expected, but interesting module choices and stuff as you progress

East campus is nice, however in the en suite flats they are quite big with a long corridor, and some flats have 2 kitchens so can be a bit more difficult to socialise. The doors use a key card and lock automatically, so nice for privacy and your own space but again slightly less social than student houses or other accomodation. All York accommodation is very expensive so very rarely worth the money. Goodricke was 167 per week.

If you can not cope with concrete, this probably is not the place for you. On the other hand, I can not stand brutalist architecture- but it is grown on me over time. The place has a certain charm about it- and once you are inside the places, it really does cease to matter. The rest of the campus is lovely, too- beautiful greenery, a somewhat scenic lake (Fallen in? Enjoy your bubonic plague), and myriad things that go quack.
