Brilliant! I was hesitant to start my course here as I felt it wasn’t a well known university and so would affect my employability in the future having gone to a little known high school and college. I’m now through my first semester and am loving the course and university - largely down to the lecturers!

Good. I haven’t used the counselling service as it’s always booked up / prefer not to use it. Academic support is readily available at all times through our personal tutor

Though I’ve only been here for one semester, I’m impressed at the proactive nature of the SU.

Yes - within walking distance to city and buses are available too that take you from the main campus to the city centre

Huge variety of societies available to join!

Most: Mix of practical and theory is well balanced and fun. Least: cramming deadlines towards the end of the semester so that four modules’ worth of final projects have to be in on the same week regardless of how much work is needed.

Transferable skills are highlighted in lectures & we will be taught in the 2nd and 3rd year about employability & how to get our work out there. Also provided with the opportunity to go to industry shows & exhibit our work
