people are kind of drab but you can't help that. I love how green the campus is tho! if the buildings weren't just exposed brick and had colour that'd be great. maybe colour code every accom. if we could redesign the east slope reception to make it more funky that'd be cool. ive got some ideas if ur interested

haven't had the best lecturers this year, last year was better.

walls aren't soundproof

Not very supportive ; as Brighton uni was in my first year and noticed that I needed help within a few months

I didn’t know that biochemistry would be a lot of modules not dedicated to numerical or symbolical chemistry. The words in lectures are too much for me personally and prefer numbers and symbols, the year 1 modules majority had the ETC train and photosynthesis which to be honest if I wanted to plant biology I would of chosen it. Most modules dedicate a part to drug targeting which in this day and age is obvious that drugs don’t work even tho so much money is ploughed into nanoscale research studies and not into the whole psychology of the human being treated. In the whole I think it’s been mostly on lots of tangents, trying to cram in as much as possible. Not much emphasis (by percentage score on results) on coursework which obviously takes a lot longer than doing an exam. So relies on a person being good at recall and doing a lot of reading around a subject which is not always possible if the content is new and needs to be studied properly.. it seems university ( in my view) is literally throwing information at students and hoping they’ll get through to get a degree.. I absolutely would never of chosen neural science as biochemistry degree (if I wanted to do that I would of chosen that aswell)
