Expensive and competitive accommodation market. Student body can be fairly unpleasant. Fantastic university facilities (except library) , lovely old buildings that really make you feel like your studying at a good university.

Some fantastic lecturers, have worked hard to make sure everything is as in person as possible and small classes make it easy to get to know people.

Lovely rural setting by the seaside. Accommodation is highly competitive with private renting of flats in town being largely a case of “who you know”.

Catering is expensive and can be painful if missed (you still pay if you miss a meal). The hall is lovely and social and the rooms are more than spacious enough.

Despite the unexpected pandemic and its effects on my studies, my experience at University of St Andrews in unforgettable and has changed me a lot and added so much to my experience and knowledge. Simply it was a wonderful experience!
