Leeds is such a diverse city with great culture and vibrant nightlife. There are so many things to do here, and plenty of restaurants/bars/shops etc to explore. I love my university as I believe it's in such a good location, being nearby to the city centre (walking distance) but also having Hyde Park student area which has a student village feel to it. The uni has great facilities (especially in my Faculty which is Science), the tutors show an effort and interest in individuals and the Union always has lots on. They could improve on advertising wellbeing and making it more accessible, however apart from that I can't think of many negatives

My course is very engaging and involves a blend of online and in-class lectures. The contact hours are a lot, however that is expected from my degree. I like the blend-style of teaching as allows me to engage with the content but also the flexibility to catch up online if needed. I wish we had more 1-on-1 contact with lecturers, as my one personal tutor meeting termly sometimes feels insufficient, however it is good they still offer this

Henry Price was a very sociable accommodation and I loved the fact you meet so many people. It has a very communal feel, is in an excellent location, and the rooms are of nice size. I was unaware I would be sharing a bathroom however it was not bad at all. The thing I liked least about halls was that my block was half the size of all the other blocks (smaller kitchen, less people on each floor) however we still paid the same price as others whose were bigger.

I would recommend the University of Leeds.
