The student services and support are very receptive and attentive to students’ issues, keeping abreast of everything going on in the nation and internationally to best tailor their assistance. There is a large focus on the student community, through student life and wellbeing which along with the environmental consciousness makes it a relaxing place to study. The university could improve by investing more in industry research partnerships and collaborating with startups, which would create stronger networking and career opportunities for students while raising Kent's research profile.

The best aspect about my course is the lecturers. They are attentive and take great care and pride in their work. They do care about students and go above and beyond to assist. The main drawback is the limited industry partnerships which restricts opportunities for internships, professional development and direct networking with STEM companies.

I have stayed in Keynes College and Becket Court, 2 university accommodations on campus and have had similar experiences in both. Location is ideal, feel quite safe in the accommodation and on campus on a whole, room allocation has been good over the past 2 years but this year I did run into some issues with what I deem to be a simple request to be returned back to my same room I had last year. I requested this from what I see to be plausible reasoning, as an international student, it would have been nice to be returning back to a similar space and feel and smooth over the re-acclimatization process. I did not give any problems, leave any damages to the room, nothing of the sort. I was a great tenant so I find it hard to understand why I could not of been re-allocated the room. I requested I believe 2+ weeks before rooms were allocated and there are still 3rd year+ students staying in the room right next to my desired room and along the same floor, I too am on the same floor, so I really do not fully understand why re-allocation was such a problem.

The campus is great for studying and student life, affordable supermarkets are far always. Accommodation wasn’t very clean when I arrived.
