So far I really like this university. I am given the help I need as wells as the university offers a lot

University Facilities are really good

Tutors help a lot and i can ask questions if i have any

It is really good in terms of students representation and facilities

I have to commute to the university however the campuses are in really good spots, close to a lot of places.

There's a lot of societies and sports which one can choose from which is really nice

What I like the most is the way my course is the taught

There are available job offers

I'm from India and the university is so welcoming and it is easy to find information, either you Ask Herts or any support staff, they always help with your queries. Apart from studies there my events, clubs and activities which will keep you engaged. The only draw back is traveling, it is really difficult to get transport on weekends.

The Power electronics and control is super tough but it's do-able. It is a in-class learning. Three or fours days a week.. The lecturer are amazing but they leave everything on you to do. I hope I get more guidance in how to write my coursework and assignments.

We do have Asda and Aldi near to the university for grocery shopping but the public transport is hectic as it's unpredictable. The trains and bus cancel at odd times and it's difficult to kind alternatives

It is expensive but all the bills are included and no need to travel which saves time and money. The LRC is open 24/7 and is accessible easily. Free activities on campus like roller skating, yoga and many more. Laptop loans for 12 hrs is available. I wish we have bike loan available currently, they said it will be available from September 2024
