The lecturers really try to help you whenever you have a problem and are willing to explain in further detail if it is needed. For my course especially, the range of lecture and simulation rooms really allows me to make the most of my sessions. Herts is a good distance from London as well as other towns and I feel that this is good for day trips or to see different things. The forum is a great place to go for nights out although I feel as if the music could be improved to make each night better.

For my course, it is a mix of online and in person teaching but this is mainly due to covid-19. I believe that it is important for us especially to have more time on campus compared to online as it allows us to complete our simulation sessions and get the most out of them. Since first year, I have completed 4 placements and I have enjoyed each of them for different reasons. One thing the uni could have done better was maybe to make us slightly more prepared for what we might face in placement as during my first placement, there was a lot of things that I was expected to do but hadn't been taught/shown how to complete them.

Since moving from telford court to Schofield court, I have noticed a big difference in my feelings towards halls. For example, I disliked telford because you live with six other people and there isn't really a space for you all to hang out. With my flat in Schofield, we have a bigger kitchen and seating area so that we can talk to everyone else whenever we want. Also, in the bigger courts, you are more likely to be living with up to 12 people and enjoy this more. The rooms in all courts are really good value for money and you get everything you need, as well as the bathrooms and kitchen. The uni halls are close to the galleria shopping centre and the train station, as well as the co-op and the forum shop.

No jobs around the University ,but the University Campus is nice.
