I started first year very lonely and lost. Extremely homesick and not enjoying my course at all. I accessed support through the university and am really settled now, thoroughly enjoying everything the university has to offer

Very modern and up to date, for law, a lot of study space. We also have the Scrymgeor basement library with archived books and legal records rather than just chucking the stuff that becomes not so relevant. Really appreciate the law library.

Support is great. Union are good, enquiry centre places you with support, access to counsellors, the SSA team in halls, disability The list goes on! Academically your advisor is always going to be an active lecturer, and they want what is best for you, but will also appreciate feedback to improve anything with lectures

The best, support good and nightclubs better

Great! Uni is one single campus so not much reason to go off campus unless into town. Dundee is small, but easy to navigate. It’s got some bad areas but the university is generally not near these, and it is absolutely nothing like the horror stories I’ve heard.

A wide array, always something to get involved with!

Law anywhere is a lot of reading. You have to be prepared for the lecturers to take a backseat and you have to use your abilities yourself. However, the lecturers are easily accessible and eager to help if needed

Really nice! University has a live in peer support service in university managed halls of residence called the SSA team. Can help with anything and a big bonus to uni halls
