- Early clinical exposure is crucial in developing practical skills and confidence - Remote and rural programme provides students with invaluable teaching and experience in different healthboards - Supportive and approachable tutors - Limited opportunities in certain specialties such as cardiothoracics, neurosurgery, ophthalmology - Some may not be keen on remote and rural aspect and there is little choice when being allocated placements
