Excellent global university. Taught by leaders in their field and the people around you are inspiring and motivated. Being in London also means you have the best time of your life (but also the poorest).

Again, as a leading university there are plenty of places to study and many resources available to use. However, the main problem is finding a computer (you have to arrive before 10am otherwise you have to queue). Also not enough books (6 for a 150 people module).

Good. As mentioned already, the careers service is always happy to help and they have lots of advice. My academic tutor is good as well and often goes out of his way to help. As a general rule, everyone at UCL will be happy to help you if you help yourself.

Limited enagement with the general student population and is full of vocal extremism. Whilst, they do try to create a better place to live and study their contributions are behind the seens. Few social events. Those that occur are often expensive.

What can i say? London is a global city. I have lived and explored most of London. Enjoy it whilst you can because once you finish tube fares go up and so does rent. Clubbing is amazing (you never have to go to the same place twice). There is something for everyone - markets, vegan shops, skate parks etc. You will/should never have a boring weekend staying inside.

There is an abundance of clubs and societies at UCL and whilst I am part of only two it is important to become involved with some - they look good on your CV. The LGBT society is excellent, if not a bit cliquey. PiMedia is another good one and I would recommend it. Lots of socials and an excellent way to make like-minded friends.

As with most universities lecturers can be good and bad. Most lecturers deliver interesting lectures and are prompt and happy to help with any questions raise. They love their subject, it is important to emphasise this point, so they love talking about it. I study geography - which is not the best department. A global university that offers few field trips to human geography students (field trips within London) when other universities take students to New York or Morroco. This is mainly down to funding but at £9000 you expect a bit more. Some courses/modules are hard.

Although I have not graduated yet, UCL has an excellent careers service and pushes you in the direction of the best jobs. Lots of contacts and careers fair. Furthermore, it is London part-time work to support your studies is easy to find.

I stayed in Max Rayne Halls (which was the cheapest) and whilst it was not "nice" like other uni halls it was good. It had everything that was nessacary and it was located in Camden Town - so 20 minutes walk to uni - and the buzz was amazing. I was very happy with my time in halls although I know many didn't enjoy it. The facilities are old but the staff are always happy to help out.

I had a fantastic time. I really do miss this masters program. The staff were lovely, my course mates were too. The work was very challenging and although I don’t miss those late library sessions I think it made me a much more stronger and capable engineer.

Absolutely fantastic facilities. The VR department has access to some of the most advanced kit, headsets that are worth thousands of pounds are available for students who want to use them.

Yes. I like to think most of the teaching staff care about the well-being of students. You are also assigned a personal tutor, which I actually never met but I know some of my classmates did.

I was enrolled before the COVID situation and most, if not all, of the course was taught in-class. Lecturers would also offer office hours during the week to pop-in and ask questions

UCL is a top institution, so there is no shortage of career opportunities. There is a job fair before Christmas which I would highly recommend students to attend. There are always speakers who come in and give a lecture on the work they are doing in industry, so make sure to attend some of those and network!
