So far uni has been great. The knowledge I have gained from the course is invaluable and the experiences I have had from the course are ones I won’t forget. If I could change one thing it would be less integration of HE and FE students

The college has a zoo on site which is so unique to a college campus. The zoo provides the opportunity for students to gain practical experience with a variety of exotic animals, something which is invaluable for future careers.
We have a dedicated HE centre with a cafe and study pods to allow us to get away from the FE students. The library is recently refurbished with silent sections perfect for study and study pods to keep out the noise of other students

The uni is great with these things. Yvette has been great with the recent bereavement in my family, guiding me through processes academically and additional support

They offer a choice of work placement or experiential learning in second year giving you the chance to earn 150 hours of work experience or the chance to go to Africa or Costa Rica. This trip to Africa provided me with the most amazing experiences and hands on experience with animals, something that wouldn’t happen in the uk.
