Very good course for the career I want to go in

Very good hall. Only issue is the shower cubicle is a bit small

It has the benefits of a big university (many courses, degrees, networking, teachers, etc) but it has the feel of a small one, where you are not just a number. Delivery of classes could be improved, highly academic and recognised individuals do not necessarily know how to deliver a good, engaging, immersive, practical lesson. Teachers should take course on innovative and current pedagogic strategies.

Course content is good but it is still too theoretical. Theory is important but this should be covered previous to the lesson by the students (pre-readings) and then the sessions could be actually spent doing applied activities and developing our applied and critical thinking skills. The volunteer internship is terrible. The description of the role has nothing to do with what it entails, there is no structure and clear outcomes. There are many opportunities to how this could be delivered and made a great opportunity for whoever takes it. Career prospects seem to only be related to whether or not you study for 4 more years to test HCPC which is not clearly stated from the start and it is part of the reason why 2 people have dropped out. Also, during classes it seems like the only path is HCPC or doing a PhD, there are no examples or mention of students who have had a successful career that is different from those paths.
