Being at RAU is a great experience! I love that it is in a rural setting as this works perfectly for my Agriculture course, we are surrounded by farms making field trips easy a breeze. The staff compliment is absolutely friendly, polite, and eager to help, which makes a world of difference. The campus is a 15 minute walk to town and that's a plus as I do not own a vehicle. Coming from a different continent, however, I am yet to get used to the food!

My course is a taught Masters, we have blended learning whereby we do our pre and post lecture studies online and then the in-class seminars/lectures. Lecturers are available on campus when you need them, and we are given adequate notification of their schedules.

I love that the University is small so all the amenities are easily accessible to students living in the halls of residence. As I am a catered student, my room is well equipped with an en-suite, comfortable bed, work station, heater, kettle, and a good speed WIFI. It would be great though, to have a microwave available in the residence for students on catered accommodation.

The best part is it's such a small campus and student body you don't feel lost or unengaeged and the lectures are able to know you. There's not much to do on campus and we're some what isolated from town, reinstating a shuttle bus could be great.

Being able to engage with the lecturers makes it easier to understand the content rather than just listening fro 2 hrs. The foundation year while combined doesn't cover subjects of all the parent degrees.

The house feels more homely than the more modern blocks and the rooms are a good size. The kitchen is quite small and unpractical for 13 self catered and half board students
