It's great being in such an amazing city. As myself being from a small town, it is not overwhelming as there is so much support with university life and work. Also the societies are one of the best bits as there are so many to choose from and meet new people in that society. Plus meeting other societies on a Wednesday social night. In addition all the stuff online works mostly perfectly and easy to work around. Student union could be more appealing for students as it's a bit plain and when around other 1st years no one really meets up there or studies there. As there are other options.

I think what you see is what you get. As sometimes in class the lecturers and seminar teachers are not very interactive and leave you there bored out your mind. However, the start of the term where they get you to interact with other peers is really good to break the ice. Also, facilities are great due to them being held mostly at the Newton building. However, I know if some students are not in the city centre that it is slightly challenging to get yourself up for those lectures. Overall, my course is great and glad it is mostly in person as I was sick of zoom in Covid at school.

Well this university was my second choice so obviously I picked accommodation later than most people. So this wouldn't be my first choice. However, I have very much enjoyed living here and one of the cheaper accommodations for NTU. It is accessible to university as there are busses and scooters to get there and back. Also, many there is a small Tesco and Sainsbury for students. In addition, just a bit further there is castle marina retail park with supermarkets, fast food, and a gym which I use loads and is close enough. The staff here are as I would say on top of everything. When there has been situations they have sorted very quickly and have notified any events or any other information that we needed to know. Overall great accommodation over here at the Simpsons!

Moving away from home, family, and friends completely and starting university at NTU has been a great experience. There are plenty of student accommodation options, both private and university affiliated, that will meet anybody’s different needs and are within a 10-20 minute walk from the university. The social life in the city is far from lacking, whether you drink or not, enjoy nights out or in, there is something for you to enjoy and a way for you to meet new lovely, fun people. The university itself is very organised and the first week or two make adjusting seamless. The course and people are great and I would, and do, recommend starting university here to anyone.

The course provides students various opportunities to customise their education experience and gain insights outside of the taught modules that are very valuable.
