The university has invested heavily in modern facilities, such as Carnegie School of sport , well equipped libraries and modern learning spaces at city campus and HEADINGLEY campus which makes it a great place to study. In addition, the university is known for working for strong wellbeing and mental health of its student which makes it easier to study and enjoy life in here. But I would like to highlight the fact that, the university having strong industry links, can work and increase the placement partnerships specifically for international students as they really struggle a lot financially living in UK, as getting jobs is really getting tough out there. The university must take some steps in helping students with paid internships in their respective fields so that gaining jobs in irrelevant fields and suffering financially can be avoided. In addition, more field specific networking events with employers must be organised to improve the employment scope in future especially for international students.

The course i am studying is typically taught with a mix of theoretical knowledge, practical knowledge and real world clinical exposure. This is surely helping students a lot in understanding the subject easily . Training of some practical skills is given in highly modernized labs giving students great exposure to modern facilities which enhances their understanding. The course emphasizes exposure to journal articles, understanding clinical guidelines which would help them succeed in the sports field. I dont think there are any worst aspects of course till now regarding what i have experience but surely there are some scope of improvements. First of all, as the course is sports specific, student should get more exposure to match day managements which could include partnerships with local clubs for experiencing real life pitch - side management for the students to gain more hands-on in the field. Workshops on UK licensing and professional pathways, alumni talks must be worked on to help students excel in the sports career. University could help more with understanding the UK healthcare systems and job requirements in the sports fields because it makes student life and career more easy and convenient.
