KCL is a very enjoyable place to study. It is located in the heart of London and feeds off the city’s excitement and culture to make one of the most exciting and unique experiences in the world. I have no regrets studying here!

The facilities are very useful for us students. The new computers in the library are very cool and are nice addition. The biggest aspect that can be improved is the

Support for students exists in all aspects. From IT services, to admission and coursework enquires. The academic centre is very useful for students who are having problems with work.

I don’t tend to interact much with the student union so I can’t answer this question. As far as I am aware, they don’t put on as many events as there should be and they are not entirely entertaining either.

London is obviously a very vibrant and exciting to live in with a great social scene; nothing more needs to be said about this.

Which clubs and societies have you joined and do you enjoy them? If not, why not? I have joined the various nationality societies (Paksoc). However, I don’t have time to attend much of these events anymore because of the demanding workload of final year.

The courses are taught very well here, the lecturers are good at explaining different concepts. I like how the lecture notes are printed beforehand to help us revise for exams. For improvements, some courses lack focus (i.e. Protein Structure and Design) and there is too much recap of A-Level topics in the first year of university.

The uni provides various internships that provide students with real life applications in medical research. I have completed one of such internships and have learnt a lot about the scientific process and how to properly conduct research.

Student accommodation is generally very good, but accommodation support is generally very poor which is problematic when there many domestic issues that needs fixing. On a positive note, I was lucky to have lived with some very friendly flatmates.

I love studying on campus because of all the spaces available. I think that the location of campus and our classes are great. Socially, I think there are not many opportunities, and I think that more facilities to learn, meet people and be active (ie. gym) should be available and more open (especially financially).

My courses are extremely interesting and the lecturers are engaging and helpful. However, I don't really like the format of having two-hour classes that are a blend of both seminar and lecture as its difficult to connect with the content and professors.

I love the location and the facilities are good. However, the prices are very high despite reductions due to work on the building. There's also not much of an active social life and sometimes I've had to ask several times to have something fixed (as have other people I've talked to).
