Hartpury is a great university with excellent specialisms. The campus is beautiful and it feels great to be out in the countryside. The staff have been nothing but helpful although systems and processes can be a bit confusing as a PhD student due to the partnership with UWE. Assessment briefs are usually clear and supported by explanation from module leaders.

As a PHD student the majority of my work is self led but I do take some taught credits. The options available have been really flexible and the lecturers have been experts in their subject area. Sometimes assessments seem to all come at the same time which is challenging but probably unavoidable.

Lecturers and facilities are good and set up safely for Covid. ASC support has been outstanding. Feel the final term has been quick - dissertation module was the only module I struggled with as there was a large online group

Lots of facilities with constant upgrades 24 hour library access is brilliant

ASC support is above and beyond, the support teacher I have has been there for me throughout my studies. Even through Covid she never missed a lesson with me

Good and quick transitions between online and in person teaching - lecturers friendly and approachable knowing students on a named basis
