In the countryside with amazing views and lots of beautiful walks to enjoy, but 10 minutes (if that) away from Gloucester city centre where you can enjoy the hustle and bustle with shops and restaurants and seasonal activities such as ice skating this winter in the docks!

In class teaching, and great practical work on the farm on site. All teachers offer interval breaks in the longer sessions which helps keeping focused and aware of content.

Great value for money for a single en-suite room. Met some amazing people whom I live with and the blocks are set out with an up and downstairs so have met more people within the building and got to know than what I’ve heard from other students at different universities and their accommodation.

Hartpury is such a lovely, rural campus with amazing 5 star facilities that any student can use no matter their degree. My lecturers have always been really supportive and have been able to answer any questions I’ve had. Even when I’ve been really stressed (especially being in dissertation year), the lecturers have always been there to talk to. Even with personal issues. The improvements Hartpury could make are some timetables aren’t very good as sometimes I will go to university for one lecture which costs as I drive to campus.

The course hours are quite good as you have enough time in the day to do your own learning or doing any part time jobs you may have. I love the in person lectures as it makes it easier to ask lecturers any questions you have about content or assignments. Lecturers will always stick around a bit after lectures just in case someone needs to discuss any questions they didn’t want to ask in front of the class which is really helpful as I’m a very anxious person.

I stayed in halls during my foundation year here. Maintenance issues were sorted quickly and mostly efficiently. The location is beautiful, however, about 8 miles from the nearest shop so you would have to catch the bus or drive for a weekly shop. They do, however, have Graze shop where you can buy small things but not enough for a weekly shop
