I'm an optometry student entering my third year in September 2024. The lecturers are very nice and supportive; however, the optometry students in Group C are extremely rude, disrespectful, and lack any sort of manners. Many of them speak poorly of you if you fall behind or are slow in your routine, and they refuse to collaborate despite knowing that practice is essential for skill improvement.

Lecturers should work on describing concepts in layman's terms so that it will be easier for students to understand. A lot of the content is overwhelming.

Great university, I'm studying journalism which is probably the best course in the world (City is probably the best place to study journalism) it's a very friendly place with very few incidents. It's extremly multicultural.

Good facilities, however technology is very slow sometimes.

Very good team, but never needed to use it - only when I had to sort my council tax out last year.

They haven't made any real different whatsoever

Lecturers are extremely friendly, however some don't listen to your problems and some only care about the money.

I receive emails on a daily basis offering paid internships for reviewing films etc

Extremely expensive, I now commute (which takes 4 hours everyday) just so I wouldn't have to spend £9,000 again on accommodation alone.
