Overall I enjoy being a student at UWE. There are factors that influence my time here. The location isn't the best to get to being in North Bristol and the student life is not a massive factor since I am a mature student. The main facilities are starting to show there age and could do with improving. The food and coffee on campus aren't great. The coffee is frankly awful and in a city with so many wonderful independent coffee shops and roasters this is a massive shame. The union doesn't feel like it is particularly socially active outside of trying to sound eco friendly. The main thing I love is my course. The staff are friendly, approachable and responsive to student request. The course is laid out in a way to support growth as students, people and potential psychological professionals. Even with the disruption of the strikes the psychology department has been open and willing to discuss the issues. Something it feels like the SU and university have been unwilling to discuss.

As previous the course has been fantastic. My primary interest has been studying not uni life so that is reflected in my previous answer.
