I love the vibe of the uni however due to expenses I am unable to get help as someone who struggles with being neurodivergent but not officially diagnosed. I can tell I don’t learn very well in the traditional way of teaching and so struggle to keep up.

I love my course but I do struggle to learn in the classes and I think the teachers assume we did a levels and already know what we should be doing

UWE Bristol is praised for its modern facilities, supportive staff, and strong career links. Areas for improvement often cited relate to transport efficiency, communication regarding timetabling/admin, and some older buildings.

As a student, I really like how practical and hands-on computer science is. The lecturers are approachable, the support is good, and the labs/resources make it easy to get help or try things out. It feels like what we learn actually connects to real jobs. However, some modules are well run, while others feel confusing or poorly coordinated. The course isn't overly theoretical or mathematical if you want a more academic CS degree.
