I have had brilliant time, meeting new friends throughout my time here and and growing as a person both academically and in my personal life. I have also gained qualifications and my prospects for the future are looking good.

The facilities for computing students are great, good equipment and a cluster laboratory with state of the art servers that students can utilise for their projects and modules being studied.

The feedback on my course has been brilliant from the module tutors and when I have had to use the support staff in the student engagement they have always helped me or pointed me in the direction of other support staff who may be able to help.

The lecturers are approachable and are always willing to help or listen. The tutors and support staff work well together and strive to get the best for their students.

The Foundation degree runs for two years and requires students to undertake a work placement with 120 per academic year. These placements can be either internal (at the university centre) or external on a placement of your choosing that allows students to work in the discipline they are studying. There is also a careers fairs where external employers visit the university centre and the modules teach you transferable skills that can be used in the work place.
