At high school and college I found it difficult to fit in because I wasn't sporty, I wasn't interested in video games or TV shows or anything, but since coming to bimm I feel I can finally fit in and enjoy what I'm doing with my life.

Bimm is well equipped to provide for all the needs of the students, I have yet to find something I would need for my course that bimm has not been able to provide.

For any support that you need, you are able to book a 20 minute session with a tutor who specialized in the subject with which you are struggling, who will then spend the time slot to explain and help as much as they can.

Although we don't have a particularly big community, I feel that this makes it easier to find people who are interested in the same things as yourself, and if you are alone, you can always find someone to talk to in the lounge.

Manchester is one of the best city's in the world to learn music as it has arguably produced some of the most influential bands in history, being around such an active music scene is very helpful in encourageing students to be better.

The only thing I can think of that is close, is the bimm Facebook page, but this is VERY helpful as if anyone needs a musician, a post to the page, and five minutes later you will have more than enough musicians volunteering to help.

The courses are much more intimate than a standard university lecture would be, and you get to have a lot of one on one time with your tutors to ensure that you are living up to your abilities.

I feel that because our tutors are all active in the music industry, that I can take their advice with more confidence while looking for work. Because bimm is so connected in the industry, I feel that it would not be difficult to find work after uni.

Personally I am living from home to save money, but from what I have seen of my friends accommodation at msv, it isn't much but all the essencials are there.

Really love the university, but there could be more social events for the students.
