The best parts about AUB are the facilities. As a Commercial Photography student I find that the ease of access to such high quality equipment makes so much easier for my ideas to come to life and produce high quality results. However, I think that the Uni's student union could use some improvement. I find that the events are catered to one specific kind of audience leaving many students feel that they don't have any activities suitable to them.

The facilities in the Photograph department are amazing, the best I have ever used. Also the technicians are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. However, i think that the course could improve as many f out lectures are online. This is an issue as every session there seems to be some kind of issue with connection or technology which means that the lesson is disrupted.

It's really great having a community with artistic people. Even though, the tutors encourage us to work with other courses, I just wish that cross-curricular work was more facilitated. I would like to have more events where students, from different major, could get to know each other, share experiences and talk about their projects.

Coming from a BA where talking about our silly ideas and just having a week of thinking about a project is not considered work, and sometimes frowned upon. Here, the tutors make us feel comfortable to talk about silly little ideas. Sometimes the worst thing is having too much freedom to do whatever we want.
