Great university, good facilities with some amazing lectures and a great variety of degree programmes. Safe and close to the city centre with great accommodation available close by. One of the best bus routes run along the main road which take you from the Manchester airport to the city centre

Provided by the university to all first years. There are also plenty of flats/houses available in surrounding areas.

So far it is really enjoyable, the lecturers are very knowledgeable and the buildings are all well kept and pleasant to sit in and work, eat or socialise. For what could be improved, there could be better communication before the university year starts, as before welcome week I was very confused as to what I had to do to sign up and enrol.

The lecturers are really knowledgeable and great communicators, and are happy to answer 1 on 1 questions. In first year for all school of biological science students, there are a set of mandatory biology modules that for me aren't all what I want to be studying as I already know I want to specialise in Zoology and animal studies.
