I am really feeling blessed to have chosen this university and happy that I made a good decision to study here, as I really like the positive vibes and environment of in and around the University.

Overall it is excellent experience.

Wherever you enter, the officers and students are always wearing a smiling face and willing to help you. The facility and structures are second to none. They should keep it up. However, my worst time was the inhuman treatment those in charge of the school accomodation ( Betrand Russell Towers ) did to me. My internet was disconnected as a result of the delay from my country government Form A payment. I made passionate appealed to those concerned but they didn't listen to me and that affected my mental health and performance in the examination. That incidence almost made me to abandoned the program.

My course is taught in class. HSC 652 course should be taught in the morning when students are still fresh say 10am - 1pm not the 2pm - 5pm after the first lecture because it is voluminous. Majority of us student have not been posted yet for placement as a result of the PEMS recently initiated by the university.

My university is a great place to be. It is less than 45 minutes drive to London city. The cost of living is cheap compared to London. Infact a lot of people lived here and work in London. The academic staff are excellent when it comes to students lecturers relationship. The SU is home away from home. I encourage any one thinking of pursuing a degree in the UK to think of the university of Essex because of it capacity and excellent trade mark.

The amenities are efficient. However, the fire alarm is too loud and it is causing headache. The management should be strict with the no smoking inside the room policy and there should be a stringent penalty for those students that are breaking the rule of engagement because their training is not only in learning but both learning and character.
