Northampton university is amazing when it comes to inclusiveness. I feel like I am being supported in the ways I need to be. This is complemented by how amazing the lecturers are and how they make every class fun and interesting. However there are several flaws. The lack of student study spaces that are quite and actually available is hard to come by there is also tbe issue of not having wifi that reaches all the classrooms. Most of the week I am out of wifi range so am unable to use the resources I need to study on campus.

The course is perfectly formed around the may difrent areas of work you may go in to with children and there families and the session focus definitely shows this. It is also extremely helpful that the lectures all have area focuses The consistency in lecture suport and teaching is however not consistent and can at times be a structure that comes with lots of stress for both students and staff.

The course I am doing (Childhood and Youth Studies) is exciting and full of challenging aspects that have helped me develop as a young professional. The lectures are lovely and helpful. I have met a wide range of different people whom I wish to stay friends with after this journey. I am struggling at the minute being away from home and hope that this will pass as I do not want it to get in the way of my adventure here at Northampton.
