There is such a wide range of courses available and their content is very interesting and taught by passionate lecturers. The location is really nice with a perfect balance of nature and the town (also the 24/7 bus is very helpful). The only downsides are the high prices of the campus food shop (a co-op) and a few occasional problems with heating & poor decorating/maintenance in the accommodations.

My course has the perfect amount of contact hours and is balanced with a fair amount of own-time work/reading. The lecturers/seminar professors are all very passionate and helpful and I really enjoy the content I learn about. The only downside is how early some of the lectures/seminars are (maybe I’m just being lazy though).

The room is really nice with a generously sized double bed and huge desk. There is so much storage space and I’m very grateful for my ensuite. The kitchen/living area is really nice and has loads of space. However, my room has been badly decorated and has some cracks/peeling paint. The tap in the sink is also a problem as it sometimes won’t give me hot water or cold water.

I had a negative experience when I had the evacuation at Arts A with the healthy and safety officer being quite rude and dehumanising, because I'm wheelchair user and he told me to go to the nearest evacuation route even though i haven't being taught about it, also he didn't want to show me what the route was. I really enjoy having my creative writing workshopped by a group of like minded peers. I love my module convenor for Landscapes Of Social Resistance, Dr. Ambra Moroncini. She is very passionate and connected to what she teaches and is very kind and aware of my needs. I also want to say thank you also to my head of school Naomi Harris for ensuring I have notetaking support and listening to my complaints.

I really like how i get to workshop and share my pieces and also review the other people writing, when a module was taught on zoom i felt that my perspective was quite to negative due to the pandemic, although my teacher made the experience quite enjoyable.

No
