Lovely campus and environment, needs expanding though

Gym and library are too small

Mental health services are a joke, tutors are really helpful though

There's lots of staff but it's not always advertised

20 minute bus to the city and buses are very frequent

Not enough contact time but professors are all helpful and good

Careers department is really useful

Overpriced and not great quality but massively convenient

It’s been great. Hard and challenging and I’ve had issues with workload sometimes but really fun, safe, active and relatively stress-free in regards to accommodation, facilities and sports.

Very good largely! Some older buildings are getting shoddy but the most commonly used ones are well kept and nice. All of the cafes and places to eat are also great.

I have not used much of the personal support but I’ve heard it’s okay. From my experience, my academic adviser has been a real lifeline and helped me lots through my first year.

I think it’s effective! The SU-run nights are always good and we get lots of free stuff ;) Representation is good and we get lots of opportunities to speak to our committees and reach out to them.

It’s fairly far away from good supermarkets and it’s out of town, so the only way I could see myself living in a house would be in between campus and the city centre.

Great! There are loads of sports all with great facilities and access to other nearby gyms or centres. Sport and societies are encouraged lots through the SU also

I love the practical acting team at UEA. For Drama, the practical work you do is in depth and very explorative. However, some of the lectures seem misguided and can feel irrelevant to the syllabus sometimes.

There are grey regular reminders of career advice and a whole building dedicated to careers and placements. I regularly receive emails from heads of faculties regarding opportunities for out of uni work too.

I feel very safe! My student house of five boys is in fairly good condition and in a great location in between the uni campus and the city centre. The rent is acceptable.
