The Creative Writing course at Brighton is incredibly engaging. The staff (published and working writers) are passionate about their subject and their respective modules, delivering the course content in an enjoyable and easily understood way. The lecturers offer plenty of contact time, almost entirely in person. The timetable is well managed, providing in person lectures and seminars throughout the week. For aspiring writers, there are plenty of opportunities to hone your craft and share your work with peers in a comfortable and supported environment. Placement opportunities and specific modules allow students to put their work into practice and gain an understanding of the possible career paths that a Creative Writing degree can lead to.
