I'm glad they haven't just left us to fend for ourselves but they help us instead to get settled in.

Wish less of the feedback on work was peer feedback as I'd like some feedback from the people teaching us.

It is expensive but very fancy

The pros: The staff are the most understanding and supportive you'll ever meet. The course is wonderful and the content is engaging. Most facilities are fantastic. Brighton is a great city and you'll never be bored. In practice, it's a very good uni. The cons: Upper management are incompetent at best, downright evil at worst. They spend egregious amounts of money on objectively ugly buildings that are barely fit for purpose (looking at you, Mithras) and then fire a bunch of dedicated staff to cover their tracks. If you're fussed about where exactly your tuition money is going, UoB isn't the one for you.

Very little to complain about with my course. Endlessly interesting content taught by lecturers who are passionate and caring. I've never had an issue getting contact hours or tutorials with my lecturers, apart from time where a certain someone didn't even read my plea for help until after the assignment deadline. Overall, things are great.

The people I know have had very mixed experiences in halls, but my time in Kingston was great. Tidy, functional and spacious. Any issues were dealt with swiftly. I have nothing to complain about.
