When coming to university everyone is nervous and in the same boat, make sure you throw yourself into get the most out of it. Join societies, clubs, be a bit crazy. You will regret what you haven't done not what you have in 3rd year, when the pressure to work hard is really on and opportunities to go out in limited.

I am enjoying the experience, however I am highly disappointed that to say there are 4 universities in the city, there doesn't seem to be much organized in terms of social activities. I also have no idea what the purpose of the SU is. In terms of societies; i joined a few at the the beginning of the year, however the price to join massively puut me off and I don't understand how students are able to afford to join them...
