The best aspect of the uni experience is the support I have been given whilst I have been studying, both toward academic support and mental health support

The best aspects of the course is the lectures are very supportive and are actively involved with their students, including 1-1 talks to help. The course content is also interesting and changes each week

I like the location of the halls it is a campus uni which means it is easy to walk around the campus. The internet is also good for a university

The teachers are incredibly supportive and will always go above and beyond to help us learn and grow. The community of students are incredibly sweet and it is not hard to make friends. University student support is amazing, they will always provide you with what you require in a learning support plan and they are always there to listen and look out for students. The Student Union is incredibly underfunded and poorly managed. There have been multiple times where procedures have not made sense or help has not been available to students. It is also incredibly frustrating to work with the university from a society capacity, as we need to go through the SU who has to work incredibly hard with only 5 people. The Student Union also has an incredible reach over student societies and sports teams which makes it all the more frustrating when they cannot provide the monetary resources to the social aspects of being a student at university.

My creative writing course is very engaging and regularly discusses ways to work after university and how to grow and learn as a writer. My media course is informative but does not feel as though it is incredibly relevant to the times. It is a very news heavy course which would be great if it was a journalism course. The only times we discuss creating media and working with it is in a 2 hour seminar. Even then we have to do most of our work outside of class.

Loved staying in Teresa Hall - mainly for the social and experience aspect of it. The wifi on campus sucks, half the time it isn't working and when it is, it is incredibly slow. It also blocks many VPNs and applications that gamers use - in my free time I want to play a video game with my friends and chill. I could not do that at all when I lived on Campus.
