When I first considered which university to study at my main concerns were nightlife and being far away from home. Neither of these aspects led me to a university that I was happy at, and I soon found myself back home not knowing what to do. My second time around I focused on what I should have focused on in the first place, the course, and on finding a university with a course that fascinated me everything else seemed to fall into place. I didn't choose Edge Hill for it's gorgeous campus, quirky atmosphere and witty lecturers- all these things were just added bonuses. I love my course. Many people think that Creative Writing can't be taught, but in one semester I've felt my mind expand and have written things that I wouldn't have thought myself capable of. My grades have peeked at 85% and dipped at 64%, a range that I'm really pleased with, and I have felt that I've deserved every grade that I've achieved and know where I need to improve. I'm really happy that I've chosen EHU and the time is flying by.
