I love Surrey Uni!!! It is the best fit for those who want to branch out for uni and experience a whole new place but also somewhere that feels homely and nurturing. It feels familiar and not as scary as other universities felt to me upon first visit. Student well-being is great and highly prioritized. It feels like the balance between work and play is easy to uphold here. One thing would be that in certain instances when looking for certain support I keep getting redirected to different people and feel like I have to try really hard to locate the support that I need, but once I find it then it is very much there. Choose Surrey! It's a happy place.

One of the lecturers that I had was a little patronizing, I felt a little as though I was being treated like a child in school. Most of the lectures are very supportive and helpful during the transition into uni. The course content is challenging but not too difficult and out of depth. My foundation year content was easy enough but doing the foundation year helped me prepare for the work standards expected at university and helped me to feel more confident and achieve better results during year 1.

Band C accommodation at Surrey is amazing value for the money it costs. The student accommodation at surrey is decent and fairly allocated.
