I love living in Chester, the surroundings of the uni are amazing and it's lovely being so close to the city. The facilities here are very good for my course and are continually being updated. I have found recently that the student space to study is getting smaller with department expansions and support isn't being offered to help those who can't go home during the day. i havent participated in many student union events this year but i can see they are making a great effort to be inclusive and try to get everyone involved although the booking systems on the app could use an update as the previous version was better.

i think the system in place for third years is okay however i do find it hard to find time to study and do assignmnets being at uni 5 days a week and having to work 3 days to pay to live the facilities are very good and being continually updated to keep up

i lived here in first year and found it very good value for money as to have an ensuit and a fair sized room for 127 a week was truly unheard of. maintenance were very attentive and so was security and they were also very attentive when my flatmates were following the rules

The lectures as informative and interesting especially now I am in second year, the library is a cozy and comfy place to study and feels very welcoming wether you’re there by yourself or with friends

I like the fact that we have barely any online lessons and most of our sessions are in person and that there are a range of labs for each module which helps with skill development, however having very little time off makes it difficult to keep up with everything especially when the rest of the uni is on a reading week and we don’t get the privilege

I love the location being so close to the uni although off campus, the rooms are a good quality and well cared for however some people neglect the social spaces and this isn’t always properly policed as it is up to students to report and one student can out rule another as a residential advisor however my RA was very responsible
