Overall it has been a bit of a shock to the system both good and bad. It took time to adjust and find a good rhythm but I have loved seeing how much I have grown and learned from this experience which if I think about has been within a relatively short time frame. I look forward to the future and seeing how I will change over the next coming years, who I will meet, what I will learn and just generally what this crazy new university life has to offer. It has been tough but I feel so privileged and proud to be given such an opportunity of education.

They are satisfactory. However, the library is very small and the gym doesn’t have sufficient equipment.

Tutors don’t really offer any support and I’d say feedback is minimal. Counselling is there if you need it.

I think we have a good system whereby we have students who ask for our feedback in order to make improvements however perhaps there could be an area where people can leave feedback as opposed to questionnaires being sent as only some individuals respond to this.

The university is at a fairly good distance. I would say perhaps the information given originally was a little misleading as it takes 30mins when walking slowly and 20-25 of walking at a fast pace. All in all though yes I would say so.

There is a vast array of societies and sports to suite a wide range of different individuals. However, I think price is the main issue as I have met many individuals who cannot afford to do the things they love so perhaps there could be a way of making some societies more accessible.

I like how echo allows us to review lectures and go over bits we missed. I think it would be useful if perhaps we had access to a summary sheet of info for lectures and a quiz after each topic which focuses on the learning objectives that we could take as many times as we needed to help us see if we are on track.

During freshers fair one could sign up to wider veterinary organisations to be given opportunities to branch out e.g. in the workforce and gain experience and more applicable knowledge.

The RVC is a brilliant university to study at- the motto work hard play harder definitely sums up life at RVC. We are studying one of the most university intense courses and have worked so hard to get a space to study vet medicine, yet we always find plenty of time to let our hair down as well, whether that be partying or playing sport, or sightseeing, with the whole of London on our doorsteps there is no way we can get bored! RVC has a great sense of community between all year groups, combined with lectures from European and worldwide specialists and the accolade of being the oldest and biggest vet school in the UK!

London's awesome. And that's coming from me- a country bumpkin at heart. Not as expensive as everyone makes out if you go to student nights. travel is so easy and pretty cheap

Lecturers of very high standards in terms of specialisms, and a lot of contact time per week in form of lectures, group work and practicals.

A degree from the RVC is unique in that it is AVMA accredited- the degree is recognised in America. The degree is also transferrable elsewhere around the world, Australia, New Zealand.
