Amazing facilities and a beautiful location. Lecturers are informative and passionate about what they teach, which makes the content more engaging. Disability / wellbeing services are easy to access and have been incredibly helpful. Communication between students and staff could be improved. Emails are often lacking clear and consistent information, and information provided via links is often outdated or completely non-functional. This is a particular issue with volunteering projects and student admin - as a neurodiverse individual, being given conflicting information about opportunities fan be confusing and distressing for me

In person lectures are engaging and informative, and the ability to access lecture recordings and slides enables me to better support my study. Lecturers seem passionate and are helpful in providing extra reading / watching to further our interests in a particular subject if desired. Course hours are difficult- the lack of a consistent schedule and often absence of a lesson plan for the semester makes it difficult to adjust to the different modules and teaching styles. Due to lectures taking place in a large hall of students from a variety of courses, the sense of community and belonging within my course is lost.

Value for money seems appropriate and facilities provided are suitable and fair. Regular visits from wardens and cleaning teams helps to keep the hall in good shape. Information on how to use the facilities (eg laundrette and oven in particular) is lacking, and I had to learn from experience how to use different models of equipment. Maintenance visits are often unscheduled and, in the past, have needed to come into my rooms unannounced while confidential calls were taking place. While I understand that not every visit can be scheduled, having a wider time frame of when we can expect visits would be beneficial to avoid this.

Great place due to the location as it lets us have a lot of hands on experience with wildlife and there’s lots of volunteering opportunities to do with wildlife It could be improved by making timetabling more regular and being able to contact people more easily

lots of contact hours and you can always go up and ask lecturers questions after

Wifis bad and maintaince takes awhile to respond
