Harper Keele is a brand new vet school and being part of the first cohort has its challenges but also great rewards. Part of being the first cohort means we can help to shape the university and how it will run in future years. The split campus provides the opportunity for using facilities from both Harper and Keele. Staff are supportive and the learning opportunities are good. Would like to see more opportunity for practical study and potential to have a drop in practical lab as seen in some other veterinary schools. Overall a good start to student experience.

Mainly in person with some online/on demand teaching due to guest lecturers etc. We are generally in 9-5, with cross campus travel one day a week with busses provided. We have tutor contact for at least 3 hours a week in tutorial style contact. Lecture content is generally 4 hours a day.

Catered halls at Harper is great. The food is locally sourced and always delicious. Never had any problems with heating or hot water. Ensuites were great with powerful showers. Although an older and less aesthetically pleasing building it was more than satisfactory. Cleaner provided once a week, very friendly staff. Laundry service once a week and everything came back ironed and immaculate! 10/10
